Demeter, the Greek goddess of harvest (particularly grain), is honored with this unique cinnamon-scented offering candle. It's properties and adornments have been thoroughly researched and chosen because these offerings are known to please Demeter: poppy seeds, sunstone crystals, cinnamon chips and sunflower seeds The candle is hand-poured in a 3" x 2", 8 oz. tin which has a 30+ hour burn time.
Demeter's sorrow over losing her daughter, Persephone, to the underworld for 6 months of the year brings fall and winter when nothing grows. Upon Persephone's return to her mother in the spring, life begins again through Demeter. In this way, Demeter is a goddess of fertility and cycles, motherhood, and cyclical changes. She can help in any situation with those issues. She may also be petitioned to help "find" lost loved-ones which could be literal or figurative in repairing family relationships that have been dormant.

We highly recommend removing adornments from the candle before lighting and placing them in an offering dish. BE MINDFUL WHILE CANDLE IS LIT
- Always burn on a heat resistant surface
- Do not touch the tin or replace the lid until it has cooled
- Avoid Drafty Areas
- Do not burn near other heat sources
- Burn for no more than 4-hours at a time
- Keep wax pool free of debris
- Keep burning candles away from children & pets
- Keep the wick trimmed to 1/4"
